How to celebrate Gudi Padwa Festival : Samvatsara is a cycle of sixty years and every year has a unique name. The day of Gudi Padwa begins with an oil-bath and eating Neem leaves ritual followed by prayers.

It is one of the ‘Sadhe Teen Muhurta’ where all day is auspicious and conducting deeds on this day always gives positive results. The other members of the ‘Sadhe Teen Muhurta’ are Akshhay Tritiya, Vijayadashami, and half of Bali Pratipada.
