The Tamil Nadu state government has introduced the Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme 2025 to support male students studying in government schools by providing financial assistance. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu will officially launch the Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme on 9th August 2024 in Coimbatore. Under this scheme, 3.28 lakh students studying in government schools will receive financial aid of INR 1000 per month. The program specifically targets male students enrolled in classes 6 to 12 in government schools.

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the UMIS Login Portal.
2. Login to the Portal: Enter your EMIS/UMIS number (provided by your school nodal officer).
3. Enter Default Password: The default password consists of the last four digits of your registered mobile number and your birth year. (Example: If your mobile number is 9876-05-4321 and DOB is 12/09/1999, then the password is ‘43211999’.)
4. Set a New Password: After logging in, set a new password and enter the captcha code.
5. Fill Out the Application Form: Provide all the required details and upload the necessary documents.
